Watchlist Internships

Watchlist offers internship opportunities to qualified undergraduate and graduate students interested in issues related to children in armed conflict. Interns are instrumental to the work of the Watchlist carrying out country-specific research, supporting our website, attending meetings and providing administrative support. For many interns, the Watchlist internship is an opportunity to gain first-hand experience in advocacy work and to chance to learn about human rights and children's rights.

Watchlist internships are generally three to six months in length depending on the intern's availability and current Watchlist projects.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate or graduate student
  • Strong interest in human rights and international development
  • Ability to carry out research
  • Excellent computer skills: MS Word, Excel, database software
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
